At Branches we believe every Member is a Minister.  “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)

If you are ready to begin the process of finding your place we would love for you to take our SHAPE survey.  This simple questionnaire will start the journey to discover your spiritual gifts, what you love to do, abilities and talents, personality, and experience.  It is not a fast process.  Very little worth doing is quick.  After taking the survey we will get back to you and help you with your journey.

Why Give?

You’re not just wanted; you’re needed! The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, “There are different spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, and yet the same Lord is served. There are different types of work to do, but the same God produces every gift in every person” (GW).  We intend to help every believer find their place in this world to give their life away through education of the Word, training, and opportunities.

Every Member is a Minister.

Jesus said we ‘are’ the light of the world.  He didn’t say you ‘might be’ or ‘could be’.  We are.  For that reason we need to learn what that means and be given the opportunity to serve.  We believe every member is a minister and it is the leaderships role to ‘prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up.” Eph. 4:11-12 (NIV).   God’s Spirit has provided the church body with all the spiritually-gifted people needed to do everything He wants done.  Our task is to discover, enlist, train, and support these people in ministry as we learn to us our Time, Talent, and Treasure for the ‘good of all’.

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Billy Graham

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
